Beginning in 2011 the Center for the Advancement of Informal Science Education (CAISE) in collaboration with TPT Twin Cities Pubic Television and other production organizations organized a series of meetings with creators of STEM media. This section of the site documents their efforts.

A kick-off two-day gathering of ISE media principal investigators was held in Washington D.C. to develop a shared new research agenda for science media projects; this led to a one day conference of STEM media producers, including producers of TV, radio, large-format films and online media. Conversations have continued at bi-annual NSF Principal Investigator conferences.
